Eczematous
Eczematous is a form of non-contagious inflammation of the skin that is known by its redness, itching and outbreak of lesions that often discharge serous matter and become scaly and encrusted.
Eczematous may develop on any area of the body but it usually disturbs the feet, hands, and groin area. It typically does not extent from individual to individual, nor will it spread outside the area open to the annoyance excluding those times when the inflamed skin comes into interaction with additional body areas. But, in the cases of certain irritants, such as contact dermatitis or poison ivy may in certain cases be spread to additional persons as well as another area of the body.
Reactions of allergic natures are determined genetically and different substances cause different rashes to develop in different individuals. A reaction to resin that is produced by poison sumac, poison ivy, poison oak is the most common source for symptoms.
