Coracobrachialis
Coracobrachialis: This is the tiniest of 3 muscles involved with the “coracoid process” of the scapula. The other 2 muscles are “biceps brachii” and “pectoralis minor”. It is located at the medial and upper area of an arm. It is punctured by and nerves are provided by the “musculocutaneous nerve”.
It rises from the top of “coracoid process”, shared with the head that is short of the “Biceps brachii” and from the “intramuscular septum” in between the 2 muscles.
This muscle pulls the humerus forward – “shoulder flexion” – and to the chest – “shoulder adduction”.
